I believe they make their own noodles at Tadakuma, that's why it's so good. :hungry:

@stevenjm I always appreciate feedback from clients and we're always looking to improve. Can I just clarify if you ate in Tadakuma Damosa, because as far as i know, we haven't given free ice cream and we don't serve any shells or maybe I misunderstood what you meant by shells. Either way, if you did eat at our restaurant, we apologize for the disappointment and hope that you can visit us again so we can make it up to you. Thanks.

I would try again if i read positive things again. I was really disapointed last time. No gyoza, ice cream was gone, a show was made of cooking the shells rather than serving them and it took all night for the first few to be ready which were quickly taken. desert dish was empty and had to ask where numerous dishes were as they were either empty or not there.
maybe just a bad night but its put me off.

@TTimmy & Stevenjm -- I suppose all restaurants have their down times. Maybe that was the case for Tadakuma when you went there. I was there a couple weeks ago and had the Gyudon (which is my fave there), and it was OK. I hope you'll give Tadakuma another chance.

First time I really enjoyed the food here but on coming back recently was very dispaointed, the food was not as good, very slow and small quantities of the shells etc and no more free ice cream. it did not seem the same menu as the first time and I wont go back anymore.

Been here recently (damosa branch) with a couple of friends and I'd totally recommend it. The food is great (especially the gyoza, gyudon and the kani chahan rice) and the ambience is really nice. Plus the service of the waiters/waitresses are excellent. We can't wait to go back. :D

Also, I didn't expect there to be a lot of nihonjin but when we went there there were about 4 tables occupied by nihonjin and only two (including us) that were locals. heheh

I've been eating at Tadakuma on and off for the last 3 years, no doubt the food is excellent. BUT, yesterday, the Gyudon was not up to standard and the Sushi was not as fresh as it could have been. Maybe theyre concentrating on theyre new branch at Damosa? Napahiya ako sa bisita ko.....huhuhu
