   Hi Mr Blogie…im a foodie like you and I love trying new rataurants in Davao…my friend who recently visited from Manila told me they ate at a Restaurant called Glamour located near Sampaguita Inn in Quirino; he said it offers eat all you can seafood fare like crabs and shrimps for only P280/head!!!…I was embarassed that being a Davaoeno I havent heard of the place yet..Have you tried it?

     Yes, I have tried Leandro’s, many times in fact. But I haven’t tried Glamour yet. I will as soon as I get settled back down in Davao — I’ve been traveling a lot lately, you see…

      Hi Kate. You might want to try Emerald at the back of Victoria Plaza Mall. Or Buffet Palace in Matina… although I’m mot sure if they’re still open. Thanks for reading my blog!

    hi blogie.thanks for the info last jul 13..i keep on reading your blog…want to get idea from you about catering vs. eat-all-u-can dining?..which do you suggest for more than 30 pax with kids…which is more affordable and convenient…can decide..need ur help…need expert’s idea…

      Oh I’m hardly an expert! Hehehe… But in my opinion, for 30 people, it might come out cheaper to go for a restaurant that offers buffet lunch or dinner. However, between hiring a caterer and renting a function room, the former might be cheaper. It depends really on which packages are available. One of the caterers I’ve written about here, Leandro’s, is very reliable and their food’s good.
